Brand New School has a long standing relationship with Adobe, but I hadn’t gotten to work on any of the projects until the NY/LA teams had gotten a little more seamless during August 2020.

The CC Idents were great to work on, as Adobe was really looking for artist signatures. How would each designer on the BNS team build their logo, in a way that was unique to them?

At this point I was very into The Incal, and Dan Tobin Smith. I worked strictly as a designer here, under the direction of Brumby Boylston and Jonathan Notaro, and worked alongside longtime conspirators Andres Rivera and Jelly Wei. I still love making the bricks, and letting someone else worry about what the house looks like.
